![]() A thumbnail cache would be a plus for faster browsing over time. The ability to move images and create new folders/albums. So until that happens I need to find an app for both iOS and Android that can allow me to do this through WebDAV. Why the Nextcloud devs cant just add a tumbnail view to the file explorer in the app is beyond me. Now of course I can always browse my albums in the file view, but then I do not get album previews, just a folder icon with the name, and when im in an album I just get the tiny thumbnail on the left with the name taking up most of the screen, this also sucks for browsing photo albums. So I think im switching my family over to nextcloud from Synology Moments. So I was suggested by someone else to check out Nextcloud again, as apparently there have been some changes that make the photo feature more useful. ![]() ![]() I was given a few decent options, I tried Piwigo, and removed it as soon as I saw that it requires My SQL because I do not want anything that uses a DB. ![]() I posted a few days ago looking for a self hosted photo manager. ![]()
